Xiaomi lifted the veil of Mi 9T a couple of days back for the markets outside China and while it’s nothing but a rebranded smartphone named Redmi K20. Don’t think that it’s not really an interesting upper-midrange smartphone with notch-less display and pop-up selfie camera.
In a fresh series of three video promotions for the smartphone, the Chinese company is concentrating precisely this and that is all about dissing the notch. Every single video shows how absurd a notch would look like in other settings.
We would not forget that Xiaomi itself has introduced a lot of smartphones in the past with waterdrop and wide notches, so it is rather untruthful on its part. Or perhaps the notches just found are bad unexpectedly?
Hey wait no, this can’t be it, because for many years now the Mi Mix line has been doing its own notch-less thing. This is only a marketing approach, therefore, and you will judge how efficient it is.
