Finally, Xiaomi Mi A3 has started arriving in stores officially with a price tag RM899 and yes, it’s loaded with many upgrades as compared to Xiaomi Mi A2.
It’s backed by an impressive 6-inches display which is based on AMOLED technology. It’s the biggest display compared to its predecessor and has a waterdrop notch on its top. Moreover, the phone has 3D curved glass design which is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 that keeps it away from minor scratches.
There is no rear-mounted fingerprint scanner as it’s now embedded into the screen and it’s said to be more reliable and fastest due to enhancements on its pixel and size. Interestingly, you can opt for AI face unlock too if on-screen fingerprint scanner isn’t your cup of tea.
Other specifications include a Snapdragon 665 AIE processor which has improved AI processing and ships with Android One. The available amount of RAM is 4GB with 64GB ROM and 4GB with 128GB of storage. Optics wise, it’s equipped with 48MP + 8MP + 2MP triple rear camera setup whereas a 32MP camera is available on the front to assist you in selfies. And to keep things moving easily, it has a 4030mAh non-removable battery.
Price-wise, Xiaomi Mi A3 set users back RM899 if you buy one with 64GB of storage. The 128GB storage variant, however, goes for RM 999. Lazada, Shopee and Authorized Mi Stores will have it on their shelves on August 3.
