Design:
The handset comes with a slightly curved glass back which gives it an astonishing look and feels comfortable while holding in hands. A waterdrop-like notch is available on the top of the display and there is a little amount of chin on the bottom of the phone.
The rear is covered with the Mi logo as well as vertically positioned three cameras alongside an LED flash. The left-hand side is covered by SIM Tray and on the right, it has power buttons alongside volume rockers. The bottom, however, is filled with a USB-C port. It weighs only 191 grams with 156.7 x 74.3 x 8.8 mm dimensions – making it a medium-sized smartphone.
Display:
The phone is sporting a 6.39-inches display with a maximum resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels Full HD+ and the display is based on AMOLED technology.
Hence, you get vibrant colours and awesome brightness range that take your enjoyment to the next level when watching movies or playing games. Unfortunately, the gorgeous display is broken by a waterdrop notch that houses a front-facing camera.
Camera:
Here is where Mi 9T shines very well as its rear camera is one of the biggest and strongest parts of the handset. On paper, it’s equipped with a 48MP wide-angle sensor that is partnered with 13MP Ultra-wide and 8MP telephoto sensor. Altogether, these sensors capture pretty awesome images with a lot of details and colours.
According to the sources, the camera doesn’t perform exceptionally in low-light conditions with quality suffering a little when there is not enough natural light. The Night Camera Mode, however, fixes that issue and makes the images clear as much as possible. It has a pop-up selfie camera with a size of 20MP that appears when you are ready to take selfies with your loved ones. Xiaomi just posted a Xiaomi Mi 9t video on the official twitter account.

What’s Inside it?
Digging down now inside the beast, it’s powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 Chipset which is further paired with a whopping 6GB of RAM and Adreno 618 for smooth and lag-free multitasking all day long. It runs on Android Pie 9.0 operating system along with Xiaomi’s own MIUI 10 on top.
And storage-wise, it comes in two different tiers to choose from – 64GB or 128GB. Be mindful that both variants are expandable no further as the handset lacks an external microSD card slot.
The handset’s sensors include an on-screen fingerprint scanner, gyro, proximity, compass and accelerometer and a bunch of connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, 3G and 4G.
Battery:
Normally, Xiaomi doesn’t launch smartphones with a low amount of battery and interestingly, Xiaomi Mi 9T is no different thanks to its 4000mAh non-removable battery. Based on numerous tests, the battery doesn’t drop quickly when using lightly – scrolling through social media and watching movies.
For an hour or two, the battery only drops 10-20%. However, the graphics-enriched games drain the battery faster than normal use. Most important of all, if you run out of battery and need it to be charged quickly, the Fast Battery Charging 18W feature has got you covered which restores the juice back to the phone from 0% to 100% in less than two hours. Amazing? What else do you need?

The Snapdragon 730 Chipset lets users enjoy multitasking and gaming for a longer period of time and 4000mAh battery keeps the lights on all day long without any issue.
