Vivo U3 is Official with Triple Cameras, SD 675 SoC and 5000mAh Battery

Vivo U3 arrived with many proprietary features, 5000mAh Battery and Triple Rear Cameras.

Another smartphone has been added to Vivo’s U-Series named Vivo U3. The latest and greatest smartphone comes loaded with a tri-camera configuration outback and bears a gradient design. The Octa-core Snapdragon 675 Chipset works as a brain whereas 5000mAh battery gives enough juice to stay active all day even with extreme usage.

A couple of exciting features include Jovi AI Assistant, Multi-Turbo for Boosting the performance and Game Space launcher for games.

Vivo U3 Price

The phone, as mentioned above, is official in China. It’s currently available to pre-order from Vivo e-shop in China only. Vivo U3 comes in two different storage tiers to choose from – the base variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage set users back CNY 999 (~$140) whereas 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant goes for CNY 1,199 (around $170).

The exact release date outside China isn’t yet confirmed, but it’s available to pre-order in China in three multiple colours – Agate Black, Spar Blue, and Onion Blue.

Vivo U3 Specifications

Taking a look at Vivo U3 specifications, it’s running on the Android 9.0 Pie operating system with Vivo’s FunTouch OS 9 custom skin on top. It’s bearing a massive 6.53-inches display with a maximum resolution of 1080 x 2340, an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a 90.3% screen-to-body ratio.

The Octa-core Snapdragon 675 Chipset works like a brain – partnered with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard memory with an option to expand it further up to 256GB via microSD card. Rather than adopting a modern USB Type-C port, Vivo U3 comes with a Micro-USB port for charging and file transfer, and it houses a face unlock feature as well.

The triple rear camera consists of a 16MP primary camera, an 8MP wide-angle camera and a 2MP depth sensor whereas a single 16MP camera is available on the front for selfies. A gigantic 5000mAh battery powers the phone with support for 18W Dual Engine Flash Charging and at last, a fingerprint scanner is mounted on its rear to get the phone unlocked in a jiffy.
