The day before yesterday, a general manager of Vivo product line Mr. Xiang revealed Vivo’s upcoming smartphone named Vivo Nex 3 by sharing on Weibo. The Weibo post also talks about “Speed of Shenzhen Network Construction” which indicates a 5G network.
Based on a post shared by Mr. Xiang, the upcoming Vivo Nex adopts the latest and coolest full-screen form. The dual-edge display on Vivo Nex 3 is tremendous on the edges. Furthermore, the curved portion of the display appears like a waterfall with a super-smooth curve. Thus, the screen design is dubbed “waterfall display”.
The bezels around the handset seem exceptionally small and the sketch indicates that the smartphone will come with a high screen-to-body ratio. A microphone and a speaker alongside standard 3.5mm headphone jack will be available as well. The sketch shared by the general manager of the Vivo product line didn’t indicate its power button and volume rockers.
In terms of the camera department, Vivo Nex 3 will have a triple rear camera configuration. Interestingly, it’s the second smartphone from Vivo with triple camera sensors. Digging down inside, it’ll have a Snapdragon 855+ Chipset. Either it comes with an on-screen front-facing camera or pop-up camera, we are short on words on, for now.
