Sony’s latest and greatest smartphone named Sony Xperia 5 was announced at IFA 2019 in Berlin a couple of weeks back, and now it’s already on its way to China.
Today, Sony made an announcement in which the company unveiled its Xperia 5 during an event in Shanghai. It’s also the same date when Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 is expected to be announced.
Sony’s gorgeously design smartphone is priced CNY 5399, and it’s available in multiple colour options to choose from, i.e. Blue, Black, Grey, and Red.
Specifications-wise, Sony Xperia 5 is loaded with the FHD+ display with a maximum size of 6.1-inches with an aspect ratio of 21:9. Powers the Xperia 5 is Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 – paired with a massive 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage and 3140mAh battery.
Optics-wise, Sony has added not two but three cameras on its rear – carrying a 12MP primary camera, 12MP ultra-wide and 12MP telephoto cameras. The selfie snapper, on the other hand, is an 8MP that is ready to assist you in selfies and video calls.
Sony Xperia 5 is equipped with a plethora of professional camera features to capture images of the next level and record videos.
The Xperia 5 also comes with Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, an IP65/68 rating, an NFC and a fingerprint scanner on the side. It supports high-speed 18W charging and USB Power Delivery 2.0 and operates 9 Pie. Sony’s PS4 Remote Play and a Game Enhancer are available too.
