The Galaxy S10 series of Samsung has started receiving updates in many countries including the UK which bring camera enhancements and the May security patch. The camera improvements include the ability to use Night Mode with Wide-angle mode and a bunch of other quality enhancements for low-light imaging.
Furthermore, one can now use Live Focus mode with a telephoto lens on the handset. This update is available for all Galaxy S10 devices i.e. Samsung Galaxy S10, S10 Plus, and S10e.
The new update for S10 trio allegedly improves the Night Mode performance and the dedicated low-light imaging mode which initially employed to the main sensor solely is now enabled for ultra-wide-camera too. Thus, it enables users to capture exceptionally bright wide-angle images in the low-light conditions.
Aside from a Night Mode, this update also brings an improvement in Live Focus Mode as this update introduced Live Focus support for the telephoto sensor of S10 series phones. However, this feature cannot be used by Galaxy S10e.
The changelog of that update also states that Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 as well as other connectivity options have been improved too.
An authentic online source has confirmed that the latest software update is now live for Samsung Galaxy S10, S10+, and S10e and this update seems to be released in a phased manner and owners of Galaxy S10 series will start getting updates in a couple of days.
To get it downloaded manually, head over to Settings > software Update on your handset and you are done.
