The redesigned Galaxy Fold finally made its way to India after the “early launch fiasco”. One will be able to pre-order the phone from October 4th, and it set users back INR 164,999 which comes to around $2320 in the United States and €2130 in European countries. The early adopters will start getting their ordered devices -starting from October 20th.
If you are living in India, you are now able to pre-order this gorgeously designed world’s first foldable smartphone through Samsung’s official website as well as Samsung Opera House in Bengaluru.
Moreover, it won’t be available in all stores across the country but selected retailers in approx. 35 cities in India.
Customers who pay the requested cost of $2,320 will be getting Samsung’s 24×7 technical support together with a 1-year Infinity Flex screen protection. Specifications-wise, Samsung Galaxy Fold is equipped with two displays – a conventional 4.6” display with AMOLED Technology on the front and a 7.3” Dynamic AMOLED display bend inwards.
The main 4.6-inches comes with a maximum resolution of 1680 x 720 pixels with an aspect ratio of 21:9 whereas 7.3-inches display holds up 1536 x 2152 pixels resolution with 4.2:3 aspect ratio.
The total number of cameras is six – one on the front, two above the bendable display, whereas the rest of the sensors are positioned outback.
A Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Chipset powers the phone and 4380mAh battery keeps it alive all day long with ease. The phone comes alongside Galaxy Buds (as mentioned above) as well as SIM tray ejection pin, USB connector, data cable, travel adapter, and a fiber cover.
