Design:
The Realme 5 Pro as compared to Realme 5, is equipped with a smaller display and battery, which makes it quite easy to hold and carry around. The new Crystal design is also available in the Realme 5 Pro – very much like Realme 5.
The curved 3D back panel features a pattern of diamond cutting. The design is subtle so that you can see under light at certain angles. The Realme 5 Pro is available in two different colours -Crystal Green and Sparkling Blue. Though both colours look gorgeous Crystal Green colour looks impressive and eye-catching. The irregular triangular forms blend with light and offer a unique type of gradient.
Display:
The Realme 5 Pro has a waterdrop-like display similar to Realme’s previous phones. It is a 6.3-inches in size with FHD+ resolution (2340 x 1080), with a screen ratio of 90.6%, a lightness of 450 nits and Gorilla Glass 3+ protection.
The display is quite like the size and quality available in the Realme 3 Pro. The Realme 5 Pro display is vibrant with 1080p resolution that looks sharp for texts or viewing video content. The brightness level isn’t outstanding as display looks duller compared to the Realme 3 Pro at medium brightness inside.
Camera:
The main attraction of Realme 5 Pro is the vertical quad-camera configuration. The Realme 5 Pro is the first phone in this segment, offering a 48MP quad-camera system. A 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor is applied to the primary camera, accompanied by an ultra-wide-angle 8MP 119-degree lens, a 2MP macro lens and 2MP deepness sensor.
This is an adaptable setup that enables you to switch easily from an ultra-wide-angle lens between a high-resolution primary camera to an upright macro lens depending on a perspective you are scouting for. In daylight, the 16MP front-facing camera, on the other hand, offers some crisp selfies. Selfies in low-light and indoors look noisy and softer, however.
Software and Performance:
Realme 5 Pro has a Snapdragon 712 chipset that is a little faster–coupled with Adreno 616 GPU for smooth and silky play. The Realme 5 Pro is launched with RAM options of 4GB, 6GB and 8GB. There are also two internal storage options available to choose from, i.e. 64GB and 128GB (expandable further via a microSD card).
The Realme 5 Pro is able to freeze up without stutters, and slow down when it comes to everyday usage like messaging, making calls, browsing the social media, and web browsing. The Realme 5 Pro experience is comparable with Realme 3 Pro and Realme X for real-world usage. Apps open in a jiffy and are also smooth to wipe via a User Interface.
Battery:
Since Realme 3 Pro, the battery has not changed a lot, but this isn’t that bad. The capacity of 4,035mAh is sufficiently good to be used for a full day.
The phone can easily survive about a day and a half during light usage days. With a couple of hours of video streaming on Netflix, music streaming on Spotify, some PUBG sessions and occasional social media browsing, you will end up with approx. 30% of battery life. ⠀In approx. 80 minutes, Realme 5 Pro can be charged fully from 0% to 100% with 20W charger -thanks to VOOC 3.0 fast charging support.
