Realme 1 and Realme U1 Started Getting Android Pie-based ColorOS 6 Update

Realme has fulfilled its promise and started rolling out the updates of Android Pie-based ColorOS 6 for both Realme U1 and Realme 1. The new firmware update for Realme U1 carries version number RMX1831EX_11_A.10 whereas Realme 1 comes bearing version number CPH1859EX_11_A.37.

This update includes an app drawer, Riding Mode as well as a theme store. Not only this, but it also comes with a Nightscape Mode and bumps up security patch level of Android on Realme U1 and Realme 1 to May 5, 2019. Let’s have a look at the changes deeply!

Realme U

The UI updates include updated default theme, updated UI of AI Board and updated UI of a Notification Panel. The System updates include the addition of Riding Mode, the addition of App Drawer to ColorOS Launcher, the addition of a new Navigation Gesture, the addition of Notification icons in Status Bar and addition of Live Wallpapers. Camera updates include Nightscape Mode only. There are some application updates too i.e. addition of Realme Community and addition of Realme Theme Store.

The company is rolling out this update for Realme 1 and Realme U1 in a staged manner. The Realme C2 and C1, on the other hand, are expected to be updated with Android Pie in June so if you are having C2 or C1, you aren’t far away from the updates.
