The Oppo’s upcoming smartphone “Reno” will have approx. 93.1% screen to body ratio – according to Mr. Shen Yiren (VP of Oppo). Yesterday, he posted quite a few more details about it – showing that it’ll be an as a bezel-less smartphone as Oppo Find X.
According to Shen Yiren, it’ll be backed by a 1.8mm top bezel and 1.63mm side bezels. The bottom bezel, however, will be 3.5mm (which come to call “Chin”). The Oppo Find X, in comparison, has a 3.4mm chin whereas Apple iPhone XS is only 3.98mm.
It’s further confirmed by posted images of Reno and Find X. Someone, however, in Weibo’s comment section, made that collage to compare the three phones – Oppo Reno, Oppo Find X, and Apple iPhone XS.
The handset is surrounded by an impressive and vivid 6.4-inches Dynamic AMOLED screen. Out front, there is a solid and quality-oriented 16MP camera which will live on a pop-up to keep a screen free of holes and notches.
The Oppo Reno will officially start landing on stores on April 10 and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Chipset, 4065mAh non-removable battery with 20W VOOC 3.0 Charging, 48MP main camera lens and 10x periscope camera – according to Shen. Unfortunately, there will be no wireless charging.
