Oppo Reno 10x Zoom Design and Display:
The design of the Reno 10x Zoom is sure to be of interest. The front has a big 6.6-inch AMOLED display with a small number of bezels around. With an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 93.1%, the biggest display is a treat for those who like to play games or watch videos on the move.
Companies like Huawei and Samsung have chosen pop-up or punch-hole cameras to accomplish a nearly bezel-less design. But Oppo has chosen the former technical solution which is indeed unique and visually impressive. It is basically a camera setup that comes out from the right, called Shark Fin’s raising camera. Not only does the Shark Fin appear great, but it also feels more enduring as compared to the flimsy pop-up cameras we have already seen on other smartphones.
The stunning design is seen both on the rear and on the curved body, and three cameras are placed flush with the panel. In fact, Oppo has placed a small point in the center of the panel to prevent scratching in the camera lenses. The two colour choices are available, but the Ocean Green variant is obviously the winning one. It reminds you of a classic British racing car covered in green.
Oppo Reno 10x Zoom Camera:
One of the most outstanding highlights of the Reno 10x Zoom’s photography chops is the fact that it can withstand up to 60x zooms. The back is equipped with a triple camera configuration – consisting of a 48MP primary camera, 8MP secondary, and 13MP third camera sensor. The three lenses together are used to produce an increased focal length that is 10 times larger than the ultra-wide camera, according to Oppo.
It’s backed by 10x lossless zoom assistance, which works really well. The cameras appear to be capable of shooting comprehensive images in high-light conditions. However, all rear cameras are needed to be tested under different lighting circumstances.
In front, a 16-megapixel Selfie sensor with an aperture of f/2.0 opens the upward camera system. In perfect circumstances of light, the camera can capture good-quality selfies. Once again, its performance needs to be tested in less than ideal conditions.
Oppo Reno 10x Zoom Onboard Components:
The Reno 10X zoom is driven by an octa-core 855 Snapdragon chipset which is supported by general storage support for LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.1 storage. A wide list of software improvements for performance boosting, including HyperBoost 2.0 and gaming mode, is also provided. Oppo has also optimized the phone for a better PUBG experience through the launch presentation.
We think that the performance hardware at this price is still about the best that you would expect. The whopping 4065mAh battery, VOOC 3.0 (which can also charge batteries quickly while playing and keep the temperature under control) and stereo speakers further position it as a gaming smartphone alternative.
Other remarkable Oppo Reno 10X Zoom hardware involves an on-screen fingerprint sensor (which is yet to be tested), 3 audio microphones, a 3-way antenna to better signal reception and a double frequency GPS.
The device’s software is ColorOS 6.0 and it’s based on Android Pie 9.0. Well, it’s not our favorite interface by far – but Oppo has fixed a lot of what was wrong with the last version, and we guess people who aren’t as particular about their software requirements can really enjoy it.
Oppo Reno 10x Zoom Battery:
OPPO Reno 10x Zoom has a battery of 4,065mAh which already has a high-quality standard for smartphone use. Once it’s completed 100%, with 19 hours of regular usage, 5 hours of Netflix and 2 hours of Hulu, it will still have 58% juice in the tank. It obviously means that you can do the same things until the next day without running out of battery. In other words, the battery life of your phone is strong, and you are also not shorthanded when you need to recharge.
OPPO is a first company to deploy its own fast charging technology and its SuperVOOC is impressive. Hence it charges the battery from 0% to 100% in a couple of minutes which means you wouldn’t have to stay tethered to the wall for a long period of time. And according to the online sources, 50% of the battery is more than enough to last you all day long – but it depends on how you use it, of course.

Summary
7.9The Oppo Reno 10x Zoom is currently the best smartphone of Oppo. In the top level of smartphones, it's equipped with less bloated software and big battery cement. It may not beat a DSLR yet, but given it’s always in the pocket, it gets pretty close, especially with its advertised 10x zoom. Unfortunately, its main weakness is in its availability rather than in hardware or software. It sells in a few markets but many of them, especially in the United States and the UK, must make a leap of confidence when buying from retailers.
